IDEAL INTERVENTION
Speech-Language Therapy
Ideal Intervention is committed to providing quality, evidence-based treatment to children with a variety of speech and language disorders, and language-based disabilities. Therapy begins by creating a positive learning environment that utilizes the principles and methods of Applied Behavior Analysis. For early language learners, therapy is child-centered using primarily natural environment teaching. Family and caregiver participation is a vital component of therapy and is strongly encouraged. Structured teaching is also important and is added to therapy when appropriate.
Behavior Therapy
Ideal Intervention provides home program development, training and monitoring to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Direct therapy services are also available. Angie is a provider for the Comprehensive Autism Care Demonstration which is available to qualifying TRICARE beneficiaries. For the general population, Ideal Intervention assists in toilet training, treating food selectivity, establishing behavior management systems in the home, and eliminating noxious habits such as thumb sucking.
Treatment
Ideal Intervention serves children from 12 months to 18 years. For your convenience, therapy is offered in a variety of locations including the child's home, daycare or in the office. Depending on individual and family goals, community based sessions may be appropriate. Ideal Intervention is contracted with BabyNet, Medicaid, and a variety of private insurance companies.
